The comic above was inspired by Austin Kleon‘s drawing lesson at the Visual Notetaking 101 class. He in turn showed us Dave Gray’s stick figure technique, which I employed in this comic. I dedicate this one to Scott Stead, who seems to like my comics.

This one is a no frills braindump. A lot of the items are ones carried over from yesterday. One notable new item is”Visual Bootcamp.” Several people have mentioned to me lately that they “can’t draw.” I always say, um….yes you can. And if you want to draw better, it’s quite possible to do so. So I was thinking it might be cool to do a 1-day workshop covering drawing, storyboarding, and various modes of visual representation (conceptual maps, flow charts, timelines, multivariate graphs, and such).
